Prince Matei, a terroir wine of the highest order, traces its origins to the austere terraces and plateaus of two hills: Tegăneanu and Zorilor. The over 40-year-old vines, cultivated in a blend of clay, gravel, and limestone, converge to shape the complex personality, intensity, and finesse of this remarkable wine. With a history spanning more than two decades, we confidently witness its evolution over time.

While the wine expresses itself beautifully with a simple aeration in the glass, we recommend a 20-30 minute decanting for an enhanced and more immersive experience, allowing its unique qualities to unfold and captivate the senses.
